Earlier this week Washington Heights/Inwood came out to celebrate and help out Will Alicea who’s currently in the hospital undergoing treatment for Leukemia. It was an amazing night, not only because the comedians were hilarious, but also because so many people came out to support this amazing dude and gave almost 1,000 dollars in total. Even Le Cheile donated money!
I took some prints, including a big canvas print that was purchased immediately at the beginning of the event by an Uptown friend to all, Carla Zanoni! After that, I was told that all of the prints I took sold, except for one print that wasn’t in plain view, so that went to Will Alicea as a donation.
So, after that I though, why not sell more prints online, like I did before after the Inwood Fire (which are not on sale anymore sorry) and have 100% of the proceeds go straight to Will’s hospital bills. (FYI, I have to sell at LEAST $100 worth of prints for me to get payments quickly from the website so SPREAD THE WORD!)
